AOL Earnings: programmatic platform, mobile and videos boost ad revenues

AOL reported its Q3 2014 results on November 6th. The company posted 18% year-over-year growth in revenues to $626.8 million, while the net income grew by 1325% year over year to $28 million (flat sequentially). In our pre-earnings note, we had stated that we will be closely following AOL AOL -1.12%‘s programmatic advertising platform for revenue growth and that it will be a key growth driver for AOL going ahead.
